Our Profile

ATS provides comprehensive support in information technology. We offer three primary lines of business:  network and computer support, web design and development, and managed hosting services.  Our approach is a consulting approach – we want to know how you run your business and why so that we can tailor our solutions to your needs, rather than dictating how you can use the services we offer.

In the Beginning

ATS started in 1994 with the same mission as today. Our founder, Jeff Chandler, saw an opportunity in providing high quality IT support services to firms where quality matters most – the organizations that rely heavily on information technology and high levels of services.  Over the years, ATS has built client trust that evolved as relationships have lasted for years and years.  As time goes forward, our consultative approach resonates well, and our “corporate knowledge” about our clients’ IT operations helps our clients perform at a higher level.

At the beginning of the company, the Internet was a new thing.  The pace of change in an Internet-enabled business has increased.  In 1994, we were building websites to run on Mosaic.  JavaScript did not exist.  A 56Kbps line was the most common fixed rate bandwidth available.  

In 1996, we added managed hosting and web design & development as formal business units to our service offerings. Along with our network services and IT strategy support, these service groups allowed us to offer our clients comprehensive IT support, tailored to client needs.
 

ATS Today

ATS has continued to remain profitable with steady growth.  This track record is the result of providing solutions that our clients need, and by focusing on the industries in which we have gained extensive experience and expertise.

ATS is still focused on providing network services, web design & development, managed hosting, and IT consulting to associations and other nonprofits, financial institutions, and professional services firms. Today, we provide services to organizations in more than 17 U.S. states, and routinely support users in literally every time zone around the world.

Where We Are Going

Technology change is a fact of life.  Who would have imagined the iPad back in 1994.  Today we are evolving our business to address managed services, a PC-less mobile computing world, and ubiquitous bandwidth.  We are exploring IaaS and Paas, and advising more clients on how to transition to the cloud.
