Benefits & Perks

We offer a very competitive benefits package. Most benefits start the first of the month following the employee date of hire, and are funded largely by the company.

Medical Coverage

Insurance is available to eligible full-time employees and dependents through CareFirst of BlueCross BlueShield. There are three coverage types to choose from- BlueChoice (HMO), BlueChoice Opt-Out Open Access (POS), and BluePreferred (PPO) Plans. Plans have minimal annual deductibles, low office co-pays, and 90-day prescription benefits.

Dental Coverage

Insurance is available to eligible full-time employees and dependents through Lincoln Financial Group. There are in and out of network benefits with a $1500 calendar year maximum per covered member. Orthodontia benefits are $1500 lifetime maximum per covered child member.

Vision Coverage

Embedded Vision benefits are included with, and therefore correspond with the individual CareFirst of BlueCross BlueShield Plan enrollment in HMO, POS Open Access, or PPO. Plans include annual co-pays for exams, lenses, frames, and contact lenses or retail price discounts.

A voluntary plan is also available to eligible full-time employees and dependents through VSP Signature Providers. Employees do not have to be enrolled in a CareFirst medical plan to participate, as this benefit is a separate plan. In and Out of Network benefits are available for co-pays and lenses, frames, and contact lenses. Employees pay for premiums through payroll deductions on a pretax basis.

Short Term Disability Coverage

Insurance is available to eligible full-time employees through Lincoln Financial Group.

Long Term Disability Coverage

Insurance is available to eligible full-time employees through Lincoln Financial Group.

Life and AD&D Insurance Coverage

Insurance is available to eligible full-time employees through Lincoln Financial Group.

Flexible Spending Account (FSA) / Section 125 Cafeteria Plan Benefits

Paychex administers these Plans for our full-time employees:

  1. Pre-tax insurance premium payroll deductions
  2. Dependent Care Reimbursement Plan
  3. Medical / Dental Reimbursement Plan

401(k) Profit Sharing Plan

Fund selections are with Fidelity Investments. On-line enrollment and participant changes are a convenient way to manage funds. Open enrollment and changes can be made monthly.

Paid Leave Benefits

Full-time and part-time employees receive annual leave, which includes vacation, sick, holiday, and training time.

Part-time employees' leave benefits are pro-rated by the amount of hours worked weekly and/or on specific days.

Continuing Education Programs

We recognize the importance of continued education for our employees. There are two programs offered to assist employees reach their development goals in education, training, and certifications.

  1. The Employee Educational Reimbursement Program reimburses employees a percentage of the costs of tuition, courses, materials, etc. based on grade attainment.
  2. The Company Sponsored Training and Certifications Program pays 100% of costs associated with specific education that we deem essential for employees to have.

Both programs have specific requirements and terms to be met.

Employee Referral Program

Our employees are encouraged to recruit and bring to management’s attention qualified candidates who they would recommend to work on our team for both open positions and future possibilities. We value our employee’s opinions and will discuss employment opportunities with employee referrals. The program rewards referring employees once their referral candidate is hired and has completed six months of continual employment with us.
