3/17/2014 –

American Technology Services, Inc. (ATS) announced today that it has been ranked among the top 100 of the MSPmentor 501 Global Edition, a distinguished list and report identifying the world’s top 501 managed service providers (MSPs). The MSPmentor 501 survey, conducted annually from October through December, recognizes top MSPs based on a range of metrics, including annual managed services revenue growth, revenue per employee, managed services offered, and customer devices managed. The 2014 report also introduces in-depth per user and per device pricing data collected from worldwide MSPs.

“MSPmentor congratulates American Technology Services on this unique honor,” said Amy Katz, president of Nine Lives Media, a Penton business. “Qualifying for our MSPmentor 501 Global Edition puts ATS in rare company.”

MSPs on this year’s global 501 list lifted their combined annual recurring revenues $2.61 billion, continuing seven straight years of strong growth. Together, those MSPs now manage more than 700,000 servers, according to Jessica Davis, managing editor, MSPmentor.

Jeff Chandler, President of ATS, said, “Managed services has been a pillar of our comprehensive IT and consulting services offering. As technology evolves and cloud computing and mobility become more mainstream, we continue to help our clients realize the highest value from emerging technologies while keeping their IT costs low. MSPmentor recognition throughout the years underscores our commitment to bringing reliable and proven managed services to our clients.”

In addition to the MSPmentor 501 list, ATS has been consistently recognized on the Inc. 500|5000, and Nine Lives Media’s Talkin’ Cloud 100 and MSPmentor 250 (Top Managed Services Providers Experts) lists.
