Tim recognized for his significant contributions to members’ success
4/23/2014 – American Technology Services, Inc. (ATS®) announced today that Tim Baer, VP of Business Development, was selected as the 2014 New York Society of Association Executives (NYSAE) Synergy New Star Award winner. The New Star Award, a category of NYSAE’s Synergy Awards honoring the best of association and not-for-profit community, recognizes significant contribution of a new NYSAE member with less than three years of service made to NYSAE in committee work, special projects, or new programs.
NYSAE is the leading “association for associations” in the Tri-State region of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Through his involvement with the NYSAE, Mr. Baer has been leading the charge for ATS to serve the association and nonprofit community in the area and help them solve their IT challenges.
Since joining NYSAE in 2013, Mr. Baer has been a volunteer for the Technology Committee, which is committed to helping NYSAE member associations develop and enhance their knowledge of productivity tools and services for technology and communications. In that role, he has been intimately involved with the planning of the NYSAE Annual Meeting, Technology Committee Meetings, Technology Institute & Vendor Showcase, and the Board Retreat.
“I share NYSAE’s mission of advancing and serving the profession of association and not-for-profit management organizations and am proud to have been recognized as the New Star Award winner for my contributions,” said Tim Baer, ATS’ VP of Business Development. “In my first year as a member, I have been focused on working with my fellow Technology Committee members to develop an engaging program for NYSAE’s Technology Institute. I look forward to continuing this work to share trends, insights, and best practices that help NYSAE members succeed in technology strategy and implementation.”
Mr. Baer will be recognized as the “New Star” at the NYSAE Synergy Awards Luncheon and Technology Institute & Vendor Showcase on April 23, 2014. ATS will also be presenting a session on Mobile First: Making Your Website Mobile Friendly and sponsoring the session Technology as Strategy: Trend, Impact and Insight, presented by Tom Lehman of Lehman Associates. Tom is the well-known author of the Lehman Reports™ Annual Survey of AMS Use and Satisfaction. Learn more about the Showcase agenda here.
