Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

We help our clients use technology more strategically to realize their business goals. In doing so, we often extend our role beyond IT to help them promote their missions and bring real, positive change. CSR is not a buzz word for us, it is how we conduct ourselves every day.

Each year ATS makes a concerted effort towards contributing to our local community’s development and sustainability. We were recognized by the Communitas Awards and the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce for our excellence in community services and corporate social responsibility.

In recent years, ATS employees have joined our nonprofit partners, clients, and others in a number of community charities, including:
  • Loudoun Habitat for Humanity - We supported and sponsored the Loudoun Habitat for Humanity's Annual Masquerade Ball & Silent Auction fundraising event to help Loudoun County families who are in need of affordable housing.
  • Montgomery Housing Partnership's (MHP) Holiday Toy Drive - We donated new toys to children from low-income or unemployed families in the Montgomery County, MD area to make their holiday season more enjoyable.
  • Doctors Without Borders - In the 2014 holiday season, we made a donation to Doctors Without Borders, which has been at the forefront of providing life-saving services to Ebola-affected countries in West Africa and is also involved with many similar initiatives worldwide.
  • DonorsChoose.org - We made a contribution to DonorsChoose.org, an online charity where public school teachers post classroom projects that need funding. The organization's mission is to help provide children the tools and techniques needed for an excellent education.
  • Tigerlily Foundation - Our employees helped raise awareness and donations for the foundation by participating in the Tigerlily Pink Boa Run/Walk. The foundation's mission is to educate, empower, and provide hands-on support to young women before, during, and after breast cancer.
  • Boulder Crest Retreat - The Boulder Crest Retreat for Military & Veteran Wellness aims to create an environment for facilitating the recovery of wounded veterans and their families. We supported the organization by joining other groups to donate to a charity golf tournament benefiting the Retreat.
  • Potomac Memorial Tournament - The tournament is hosted annually by the Potomac Soccer Association (PSA), which provides soccer training programs and playing opportunities to the Potomac area's youth. We shared the tournament sponsorship with other local organizations in an effort to help young players develop to their highest potential.
  • For the Love of Children’s Toy Drive - We donated new toys to students in the Christmas for Kids program, which brings toys to children in foster care, making their Christmas season more enjoyable.
  • Food for Others Food Drive - Food for Others' food donation program helps provide free food to unemployed and low-income families in Northern Virginia. Our employees donated a total of 100 lbs. of food to bring improved meals and smiles to the families in need.
  • March of Dimes - March of Dimes holds an annual Walk to help their great cause: reducing infant mortality and birth defects. Our employees participated in the Walk and also contributed through monetary donations.
  • Computer C.O.R.E. - Computer C.O.R.E.'s Community Outreach program brings technology equipment and education to youth in low-income communities. We donated computer equipment that helps enhance Computer Core's educational facilities within the Washington DC-Maryland-Virginia area.

We are committed to giving back to our community and are proud to be a part of our clients’ philanthropic and social programs.
